Evangelos Viglis

Evangelos Viglis has a diverse career as an educator, artist and illustrator.  His illustrations have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and the Village Voice.  He works out of his studio in Queens where he concentrates on oil painting, printmaking and sculpture.  Evangelos has apprenticed with artist, Kikuo Saito and holds degrees from the School of Visual Arts and Teacher’s College at Columbia University.  Currently he teaches art at LaGuardia High School in Manhattan and serves as Secretary of the Board for Dorian Baroque.
