The Church of the Epiphany, 1393 York Avenue, NY, NY 10021 (corner of E 74th St)

New York’s newest baroque orchestra, Dorian Baroque, makes its debut with a concert of banquet music. Celebrating the long standing tradition in 17th & 18th century German royal and aristocratic households, the concert will include selections from Heinrich Biber’s Mensa Sonora, Johann Schein’s Banchetto Musicale and Telemann’s well-known Tafelmusik. For more information on this concert, email music@dorianbaroque.org.

The concert will take place at the Church of the Epiphany on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Located on the corner of York Avenue and East 74th Street, the sanctuary’s simple Norman Gothic architecture serves as a perfect setting for the resonance of baroque music.
